Role Overview

  • We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and strategic planning of SteerAI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for SteerAI programs and projects.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and providing insights to leadership.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with project and technical teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and budget utilization.
  • Support procurement teams with financial processes, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases, financial models, and investment analysis for new initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal finance teams to support audits, financial reviews, and reporting cycles.
  • Contribute to improving financial processes and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 6 8 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial operations.
  • Experience supporting technology, R&D, or project based environments is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA are considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non financial stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast growing technology environment.
