About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site presence and some work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor cash flow, and produce periodic financial statements and management reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies, including coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
- Support project based financial planning, cost control, and financial risk assessment related to operations in multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
- Experience with financial controls, compliance, and audit processes, ideally across multiple countries or jurisdictions
- Advanced skills in financial software and tools (e.g., accounting systems, ERP platforms, Excel or similar spreadsheet applications)
- Ability to manage project based finances, cost tracking, and financial reporting for operations in complex or high risk environments
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with remote and cross cultural teams
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage
- Experience in security, defense, logistics, or similar sectors, and familiarity with international operations, is highly beneficial
- Ability to work independently in a part time, hybrid setting in Abu Dhabi, with strong organizational skills
