Role Overview
Lead all finance and accounting activities for a manufacturing business.
Provide financial and commercial insight to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly reporting, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Oversee manufacturing accounting, product costing, and cost control initiatives.
- Analyse production costs, yields, wastage, labour efficiency, and operational performance.
- Partner with production, supply chain, and commercial teams.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and working capital performance.
- Support pricing, margin analysis, customer profitability, and investment decisions.
- Ensure financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Review CAPEX proposals and monitor fixed asset management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of approximately 15 employees.
Requirements
- Experience across finance and accounting activities in a manufacturing business, including manufacturing accounting and product costing.
- Capability in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of approximately 15 employees.
- Knowledge of financial controls, compliance, audit readiness, inventory accounting, and working capital performance.
