Role Overview
Own the finance function end to end across accounting, tax, reporting, cash, and controls.
Lead finance operations for a legal, immigration, real estate, and corporate-services consultancy operating across Dubai, London, and Istanbul.
Work closely with management on pricing, hiring, and new jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Run month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities under IFRS.
- Prepare management reporting packs for leadership.
- Complete UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings on the FTA portal.
- Manage statutory compliance for the group.
- Oversee client billing, receivables, overdue accounts, and collection agencies where needed.
- Manage cash flow, a 13-week rolling forecast across AED, USD, EUR, and GBP, and banking relationships.
- Build the annual budget and rolling forecast with every head of department.
- Manage the external audit for every entity end to end.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
Requirements
- ACCA, CPA, or CMA fully qualified, or with only the final level outstanding.
- At least 6 years of progressive finance experience.
- At least 2 years leading or supervising a team in the UAE.
- At least 3 years of hands-on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing experience.
- Experience preparing full IFRS financial statements, including multi-entity consolidation.
- Professional-services experience with time-based billing and client money is a strong plus.
- Excellent command of English and confident communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
