Role Overview
Manage and oversee a Finance and Accounting team consisting of two other resources.
The source listing indicates 1–6 years of experience.
Accounting and Reporting
- Prepare monthly and annual profit and loss account and balance sheet closings.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Prepare regular MIS analyses and reports for management.
- Oversee the passing of various General Ledger entries.
- Run and check the trial balance.
- Prepare other ad hoc reports.
Reconciliations and Payments
- Liaise with customers and suppliers for account reconciliations.
- Pass monthly depreciation, amortization, and deduction entries.
- Vouch and properly allocate receipts to generate debtors ageing.
- Verify and vouch payments to suppliers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank when required.
Audit and Tax
- Prepare audit schedules.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT filings.
- Prepare and submit corporate tax filings.
