Finance Executive

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly Profit and Loss statements.
• Analyze revenue, costs, gross profit, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, expenses, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for management.
• Track actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Identify cost variances and provide explanations and recommendations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments on financial matters.
• Record and classify healthcare-related revenues and expenses.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and applicable accounting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Practical knowledge of Profit and Loss preparation and analysis is mandatory.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Excel and accounting or ERP software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to identify financial discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Healthcare industry experience is described inconsistently as mandatory and preferred in the source.
• Hands-on experience preparing P&L statements in a healthcare organization is preferred.
• Understanding healthcare revenue, operational costs, staff costs, and other expenses is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 6,000–7,000 per month.
