Main Purpose of the Job
Alfa Laval is hiring a Financial Data Analytics and Control professional for the MESEA region.
The role analyzes and presents regional financial information and supports budgeting, forecasting, sales controlling, cost center controlling, and financial and sales data warehouse activities.
The position queries data, builds interactive reports, ensures data integrity, and finds actionable insights for financial and business operations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and service operations costing updates.
- Maintain and develop analytics and financial control tools, including sales and financial databases.
- Analyze business performance, variances, costs, and cost allocation in the MESEA region.
- Respond to ad hoc financial data requests and contribute to monthly and year-end closings.
- Provide second-level quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare quarterly, year-end, local, and ad hoc data for corporate management.
- Extract, clean, and transform financial data from internal systems and databases.
- Build and optimize self-service dashboards for finance stakeholders and resolve data mapping issues.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering on data quality and data pipeline improvements.
