About the Role
We are hiring a Finance & Cost Accountant to own the day-to-day books and production accounting. This hands-on role involves daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, inventory tracking, and monthly close.

Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online entities accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, expense categorization
- Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations
- Monthly close: accruals, prepayments and preparation of month end financial statements
- VAT filings and supporting schedules in line with UAE FTA requirements
- Payroll entries and related reconciliations
- Maintaining a clean audit trail and supporting documentation for all transactions
- Tracking raw material inventory, including purchase recording, valuation and reconciliation against physical counts
- Maintaining work in progress records: which pieces are in production, materials consumed, labour applied, stage of completion
- Monthly production close reconciling production output to inventory movements and ensuring COGS is recorded correctly
Requirements
- Five to six years of accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (essential)
- Demonstrated experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting
- Solid grasp of UAE VAT and FTA filing requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Highly organized, detail driven, and comfortable owning month end close independently
- Written and spoken English required

Role Summary
- We are hiring a Finance & Cost Accountant to own the day to day books and the production accounting.
- This is a hands on role, not a management position. You will personally execute the accounting work in QuickBooks Online and personally track inventory, work in progress and finished goods on the production side.
- You will work closely with the CEO and the atelier team.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Solid grasp of UAE VAT and FTA filing requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Professional qualification (CA, CMA, ACCA part qualified or qualified) is an advantage.
- Highly organized, detail driven, and comfortable owning month end close independently.
- Discreet you will handle confidential financial and client information.
- Written and spoken English required.
