Activate is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility.
We are experiencing significant expansion and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Finance Coordinator.
The Finance Coordinator supports the financial team with cash management, and bank account reconciliations, as well as AP/AR support ensuring financial records and reporting are accurate and up to date.
This is a support role for the financial accounting team and doesn’t have any direct reports.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Cash And Bank Reconciliation Support
- Download daily transaction reports from banking platforms and other financial systems
- Upload and match transactions within the ERP/accounting system
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve cash or POS discrepancies
- Assist with monitoring cash balances and flag irregularities
- Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation
Finance Support
- Vendor account set up and maintenance including credit applications
- Track missing receipts and invoices to ensure timely upload into required software systems
- Maintain organized financial records to support audit and compliance requirements
- Provide administrative support to accounts payable and receivable
- Other finance-related duties as assigned
