Position Overview

The company is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Financial Assistant for day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced creator-driven agency.

This is an entry-level hybrid role covering accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The role supports accurate financial tracking, timely payments, and coordination with internal teams, talent managers, and brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, creator payments, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile invoices against contracts, statements of work, and internal approvals.
  • Maintain vendor records and support vendor and creator onboarding.
  • Issue client invoices aligned with campaign deliverables.
  • Maintain accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Investigate billing issues and discrepancies and minimize unapplied cash.
  • Maintain financial records in systems such as QuickBooks and Lumi.
  • Support finance inquiries, audits, reporting, compliance, administration, and special projects.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support.
  • Finance or accounting internship or co-op experience is required when there is no full-time work experience.
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • QuickBooks or other accounting software experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, communication, autonomy, and problem-solving skills are required.
