Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for an ambitious individual to join our European finance team based out of Manchester, UK. The role of Finance Assistant will be supporting the financial control team in all aspects of finance.

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to, for multiple European entities:

Performing Balance Sheet reconciliations on a month & quarterly basis, ensuring queries are followed up

Involvement in collating information for both the interim and Year End Audit. Includes monthly supporting information for the auditors to enable a swift & efficient audit.

Responsible for the fixed asset register, reconciliation & associated journal postings.

CAPEX reporting and analysis to the Finance manager.

Supporting the team to reconcile intercompany accounts.

Authorising credit notes.

Performing month-end close down duties for European entities

Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations including multiple cash and bank accounts, ensuring all balance on a monthly basis and queries are followed up proactively.
