Experience in handling finance data with accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of finance processes such as billing, invoicing or purchase orders (through work experience, education or training).
Ideally, knowledge of the education sector.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, able to work to deadlines and established processes.
Experience responding to queries via email and maintaining shared inboxes in a professional manner.
Experience maintaining organised and accurate records.
Willingness to learn bank reconciliations and other core finance tasks.
Experience working collaboratively within a team and supporting internal stakeholders.
Exposure to credit control or resolving billing discrepancies.
Basic understanding of finance and accounting processes.
Knowledge of billing and invoicing principles.
Basic knowledge of purchase orders and supplier payments.
Familiar with using finance systems and spreadsheets.
Understanding of data protection and confidentiality in finance.
Basic knowledge of VAT.
