This full-time remote Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role supports daily financial and accounting operations at Vélo Factory.

The position requires consistent communication with internal stakeholders and, where relevant, external partners.

Process invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems.
Handle petty cash transactions and support credit control by monitoring outstanding balances and following up on payments.
Help prepare basic financial reports and reconciliations.
Collaborate with team members, respond to finance-related queries, and support month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.

Foundational finance and accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
Credit control skills, including receivables monitoring, overdue-account follow-up, and cash-flow support.
Experience managing petty cash, including transaction recording, balance reconciliation, and documentation.
Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software, with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
