Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role supporting daily accounting operations and smooth financial workflows.

The position is described as entry-to-mid level and reports to the Finance Manager or Lead Accountant.

Support daily accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including invoice verification and client billing.
Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
Prepare payment runs, track overdue accounts, issue customer statements, and support credit control.
Perform bank reconciliations, balance cash books, reconcile payment gateways, and track petty cash.
Post routine journal entries and assist with month-end close and trial balance preparation.
Compile aging reports, expense tracking sheets, and payment schedules.
Maintain audit-ready logs and check expense receipts for compliance.
Handle confidential financial data in accordance with internal controls and governance guidelines.
Liaise with internal teams, clients, vendors, and banking institutions.

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
