Role Description
Manage end-to-end accounting operations, closing processes, and financial compliance.
Oversee sub-ledger accuracy, complex journal entries, period-end closing, and analytical variance reviews.
Report to the Finance Manager or Financial Controller and collaborate with department leads, tax authorities, and external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
- Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA membership are highly preferred.
- 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience covering AP, AR, general ledger, and full-set accounts closure.
- Hands-on experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing schedules.
- Experience posting accruals and prepayments and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Familiarity with MFRS/IFRS, corporate tax filing requirements, and SST/GST/VAT documentation.
- Advanced working knowledge of ERP software and accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, AutoCount, Xero, or SQL Financial Systems.
- Experience with variance analysis, working capital monitoring, budget-versus-actual tracking, and cash flow forecasts.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookup formulas, pivot tables, SUMIFS, nested formulas, financial modeling, and data visualization.
- Ability to manage fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, asset audits, and inventory adjustments.
