Responsibilities
- Manage financial accounting, accounts finalization, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable financial reporting frameworks
- Manage corporate accounting functions, year end book closures, and preparation of financial statements
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
- Analyze business processes and establish effective accounting systems
- Review and strengthen internal control systems

Role Overview
- Looking for Chartered Accountants with 10 to 15 years of middle east experience to join an Oil Field Service Company (UAE and Oman locations).
Responsibilities
- Strong experience in financial accounting, accounts finalization, financial reporting, and managing finance operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable financial reporting frameworks and accounting standards, including IFRS.
- Expertise in managing corporate accounting functions, year end book closures, preparation of financial statements, and coordinating with external auditors for statutory audits.
- Ability to analyze business processes, establish effective accounting systems, and implement financial and management reporting frameworks.
- Experience in reviewing and strengthening internal control systems, identifying process gaps, and recommending best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, international taxation concepts, and indirect taxation, including GCC VAT compliance and reporting requirements.
- Ability to support strategic financial decision making, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and provide CFO level financial insights for SME businesses.
- Experience in managing finance and accounting projects, including client assignments, process improvements, and advisory engagements both on site and remotely.
- Strong leadership, team management, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills with the ability to work with senior management and business owners.
