Role overview
Provide analytical and reporting support to the Senior Finance Business Partner for technology operations and the indirect cost base.
Develop FP&A and business partnering skills while working with Technology, IT, Operations, and diverse technology and indirect cost structures.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, reports, and variance analysis for technology cost centres and indirect costs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting by preparing cost centre budgets and maintaining forecast models.
- Analyze technology, facilities, professional services, and corporate overhead costs to identify trends and savings opportunities.
- Track performance metrics including technology spend efficiency, cost per user, platform utilization, and software license optimization.
- Investigate actual versus budget and forecast variances and explain cost drivers with stakeholders.
- Track costs for technology projects, implementations, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and indirect cost centres.
- Support technology investment cases through ROI analysis, benefit tracking, and post-implementation reviews.
- Analyze vendor performance, software licensing, cloud provider costs, and service contracts.
- Assist with indirect cost allocation and profitability analysis.
- Improve reporting processes, automate routine tasks, and respond to ad hoc analysis requests.
