About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations for a General Trading and Automotive business. You will manage the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, inventory accounting, VAT compliance, and cash flow.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle from transaction recording to financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate bookkeeping
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain inventory records and monitor inventory costing
- Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyze gross profit
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
- Process payroll and maintain employee related financial records
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and financial analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Experience in General Trading, Import & Export, or Automotive industry is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English

About the Role

- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day accounting, financial reporting, inventory accounting, cash flow, VAT compliance, and supporting management with accurate financial insights.
