Role Summary
The Finance / Accounting & Taxation Executive will be responsible for managing UAE tax compliance, financial reporting, banking operations, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
The role requires strong expertise in VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and UAE compliance frameworks.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage UAE Federal Tax registrations (VAT & Corporate Tax) for individual entities and group companies
- Maintain and update company tax records (trade licenses, authorized signatories, IDs, branches, addresses, etc.)
- Monitor the EmaraTax portal and respond to FTA queries in coordination with tax consultants
- Handle company deregistration processes and final tax return filings upon liquidation
- Prepare and file VAT returns within statutory deadlines
- Assist in UAE Corporate Tax registration and ensure compliance
- Prepare Corporate Tax returns in coordination with tax advisors and ensure timely filing
- Manage Free Zone compliance reporting requirements
- Submit UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) declarations to relevant authorities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations across group entities
- Ensure accurate financial records in compliance with IFRS standards
Audit & Reporting
- Liaise with external auditors for timely completion of audits
- Prepare and provide financial statements for group companies within deadlines
- Support audit finalization and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
