Role Description
The Finance & Accounting Executive works part time in a remote capacity.
The role supports core financial operations and reporting activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Assist with periodic financial reporting.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Monitor compliance with relevant tax regulations, including GST where applicable.
- Maintain organized financial records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify financial information.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes.
Qualifications
- Strong finance knowledge and experience working with financial statements.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
- Experience in financial reporting and preparing periodic management and stakeholder reports.
- Familiarity with GST concepts and compliance where applicable.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools such as Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certifications are an added advantage.
