Responsibilities
- File and smooth jewellery components according to production drawings and quality standards
- Remove excess metal, rough edges, burrs, and surface imperfections using hand files and filing tools
- Prepare jewellery pieces for the next production process, such as polishing, stone setting, or assembly
- Inspect finished work to ensure the required shape, size, and finish are achieved
- Handle gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals with care to minimize material loss
- Maintain accurate accountability of jewellery pieces throughout the filing process
- Use filing tools and equipment safely and report any damaged tools or equipment
- Follow company quality control procedures and manufacturing specifications
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from metal dust and scrap
- Collect and properly dispose of or recover precious metal filings and waste according to company procedures
- Coordinate with supervisors and other production departments to ensure timely completion of work
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality workmanship
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Filing Worker in a diamond and/or gold jewellery manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of filing techniques and hand tools, shaping, and finishing jewellery components
- Ability to work with precision while minimizing precious metal wastage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
- Good teamwork and communication skills

- We are a Diamond & Gold Jewellery Manufacturing Company based in Dubai Production City and looking for a skilled Filing Worker (Male) to join our production team.
- To perform precise filing and finishing of jewellery components, ensuring all pieces are accurately shaped, free from defects, and ready for subsequent manufacturing processes while maintaining quality standards and minimizing precious metal wastage.

- Salary: AED 1,500 – 1,800 per month (depending on experience)
