FIFO Scheduling Engineer - Technical Services

Key Responsibilities

• As our Scheduling Engineer , you will be a key member of the Technical Services team, responsible for developing and maintaining monthly 3-Month Schedules (3MS) that guide underground mining activities and support the achievement of production, safety and business objectives.
• Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, you will work closely with Underground Operations, Geology and other technical disciplines to ensure mine plans are practical, achievable and aligned with operational priorities, while driving continuous improvement across planning and scheduling processes.
• This is a newly created role that offers the opportunity to directly influence production outcomes across a growing underground business. The position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster , providing a strong work-life balance while remaining closely connected to site operations and decision-making. As the operation continues to grow and mature, the role is planned to transition to an attractive 4 days on, 3 days off FIFO roster , offering even greater flexibility and lifestyle benefits, subject to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly 3-Month Schedules (3MS) for underground mining operations
• Track planning and scheduling performance to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
• Plan underground infrastructure and support associated project activities
• Work closely with Underground Operations to coordinate and schedule mining activities
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Short-Term Planning Engineers
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within planning and scheduling systems and processes
• Collaborate with Geology, Technical Services, Maintenance and other support functions to optimise resource utilisation
• Monitor plan compliance and alignment with weekly and operational schedules
