Field Support Trainer (Aerial)

The Lead Field Trainer develops and delivers hands-on training for employees working in aerial and underground telecommunications construction.

This role trains employees on construction practices, tools, equipment, safety, quality standards, and job responsibilities. The Lead Field Trainer also evaluates employee skills, identifies training needs, and supports career development.

Train new and existing field employees through classroom and hands-on instruction.

Train employees on aerial and underground construction practices.

Demonstrate proper use of tools, equipment, and work methods.

Conduct skills assessments and evaluate employee competency.

Identify skill gaps and provide coaching or additional training.

Reinforce company safety, quality, and production standards.

Support career development from entry-level positions through Foreman.

Provide equipment and tool training, including safe operation and inspections.

Conduct refresher training when performance, safety, or quality issues arise.

Work with Operations, Safety, and HR to maintain consistent training standards.

Maintain training records, assessments, and employee qualifications.
