About the role
Help shape and execute Field Support Operations strategy to scale autonomous vehicle deployment across Uber's platform.
Collaborate with autonomous vehicle technology partners, local operators, product teams, and regulatory bodies.
Build and manage rapid-response protocols for in-field incidents.
What you will do
- Lead Field Support Operations partners in scaling rapid-response supply and support regional operations.
- Manage partner escalations and drive resolutions for operational issues.
- Lead Field Support Operator training with autonomous vehicle technology partners.
- Coordinate incident-response drills and partner auditing activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies, identify resources, inform budgets, define KPIs, and own performance.
- Analyze data, report trends, and turn ideas into actionable operational plans.
Basic qualifications
- Five or more years of operations management or program management experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Autonomous vehicle operations experience is preferred.
- International travel of up to 50% to support a field presence is preferred.
- A structured, organized, detail-oriented approach and comfort in dynamic, ambiguous environments are preferred.
- Operational experience in staffing, training, field-response dispatching, positioning, and SOP adherence is preferred.
- Clear communication, strong partner management, and rapid synthesis of information are preferred.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency is preferred.
- Experience launching products or services and developing and implementing projects is preferred.
- Data-driven decision-making, sound business judgment, and analytical thinking are preferred.
