• Provide service-related assistance by way of phone support.

• Plans & coordinates activities concerned with investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems by utilizing applicable processes to eliminate future operational or service difficulties.
• Analyses reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes and recommends modifications to eliminate future problems.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Description
- Provide phone-based service assistance and attend field breakdowns to repair cranes promptly.
- Complete service reports after repairs and provide feedback on component failures.
- Train distributors in commissioning the first new product.
- Troubleshoot warranty problems beyond distributor or customer capabilities.
- Coordinate with MCG personnel on service materials, product requirements, availability, and code compliance.
- Investigate customer technical problems and analyze trends to recommend changes that prevent recurrence.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school education with at least five years of technical service and support experience.
- Crane or heavy equipment industry experience is preferred.
- OEM or dealer experience and specialist crane training are advantageous.
- Trade certificate in mechanical or electrical trades with strong automotive and CAN bus diagnostic skills.
- Fault-finding experience across electrical, hydraulic, engine, drive-line, braking, and general heavy-equipment systems.
- Ability to read and work with electronic and hydraulic schematics.
