Summary
As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintenance of laptops, desktops, thin clients, monitors, & peripherals.
Technicians will need to complete proper inventory and asset recording processes prior to and during delivery.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Install new laptops, desktops, thin clients, monitors and peripherals
- Removal of all disconnected/surplus equipment and transport back to specified customer locations.
- Proper data collection on each install/unit.
- Update and submit work orders, expense reports and timesheets to respective departments.
- Function as a liaison between cb20 team and the customer.
- Minor cart and hardware assembly, maintenance & repair.
Requirements And Job Specifications
Education: AAS degree in computer science preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
2+ years’ experience with field services support and network cabling. 2+ years’ experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling, common software programs and operating systems.
A clean/valid driver’s license is required.
Standards: Ability to follow standards as outlined in the cb20 Company Manual.
Skills
Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer, including vendor warranties.
Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premise.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Working time : 40 hours/week.
All other times as defined by the demands of the customers and department’s needs.
Lifting : Ability to lift 50 lbs.
