About the Role
Agfa Radiology Solutions is hiring an X-Ray Field Service Engineer to deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for imaging products in the North of England. - Deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s imaging products
- Install, commission, maintain and service imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment
- Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products
- Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy
- Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company’s policies and work procedures
Requirements
- HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering; or equivalent experience
- Previous field service experience in similar work
- Strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to travel to customers on a daily basis
- Excellent problem solving skills

Job description
- As an X Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s state of the art imaging products.
- You will be travelling to customer sites and responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment.
- You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products.
- Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy
- Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement
- Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company’s policies and work procedures
- Identify and escalate situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals
Experience and Qualifications
- You have an HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering; alternatively qualified by extensive experience
- Ideally you will have previous field service experience where you have undertaken similar type of work.
- You will have strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills
- You hold a full UK driving license
