About the Role
Leica Microsystems is hiring a Field Service Engineer for the MEAT & CIS region, based in Saudi Arabia and working remotely. The role involves performing advanced installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on microscopy systems, as well as supporting channel partners and driving service revenue growth.

Responsibilities
- Perform Advanced Installations as well as Advanced Repairs and Preventive Maintenance
- Work closely with MEAT&CIS Channel Partners and support their training, installation and repair cases
- Provide informal guidance to junior team members and extend support in complex situations by proactively sharing knowledge
- Support business implementation and readiness plans through project planning, management and creation of work instructions and SOPs
- Prepare and execute action plans for growth through service revenue generation in MEAT&CIS
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical expertise in repair, calibration, maintenance, and upgrade of microscopy systems and related equipment
- Proficient in range of products from a single or multiple product groups with advanced expertise in at least 2 complex products from a product group
- Networking, influencing, and communicating effectively across functions and at all levels
- Training and/or coaching experience
- Up to 70% travel
- Track record of delivering standardization, simplification and continuous improvement across key business areas (preferred)
- Experience in working in a matrix organisation including building relationships remotely and cross culturally (preferred)
