This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Cambridge, MA.
A company-owned vehicle will be provided.
What you’ll do Performs advanced-level, scheduled and unscheduled troubleshooting/services on specialty equipment, instruments, and systems specific to the pharmaceutical research & development industry.
Product line support: Agilent, Waters, Thermo Scientific.
Chromatography experience is a must.
Possesses the in-depth technical knowledge required for performing complex, analytical service procedures, instrument qualifications, and calibration tasks.
Assists the supervisor in monitoring and scheduling operations of technicians responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical instrumentation according to client specifications.
Develops methods and procedures pertaining to service and calibration of specialized instrumentation.
Monitors instrument and part reliability; makes alternate service, supplier and parts recommendations.
Provides manager and client guidance regarding platform reliability and replacement, based on LCAM and RCM principles.
Organizes work processes and leads project assignments for instrumentation/calibration staff in order to fulfill contractual obligations to the client.
Reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates, and maintains instruments or devices upon completion of repairs.
Documents daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed within approved guidelines and procedures.
Communicates with customer staff and outside contractors in the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment, as necessary.
Coordinates with outside contractors regarding repairs covered by maintenance agreements.
Provides detailed technical training and orientation to staff and colleagues on specialized instrumentation or techniques.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
Degree preferred in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $140,000 to $160,000 annual base salary depending on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
