Responsibilities

• Identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Perform mechanical and electrical installations of actuators.
• Complete retrofit adaptation of components, pedestals and drive shafts.
• Complete accurate technical site visit reports for each job.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• Post-study experience in a practical engineering environment is required, preferably in a field-based role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Attend training for confined space, working at heights and first aid competence.
• Complete customer inductions, medicals and inoculations as required.
• Meet an extensive travel commitment and hold a full valid driver's license.
• Have technical experience or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems.
• Understand basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories.
• Read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and use common test and calibration tools.
