The field Representative acts as the intermediary between Mount Adams Fruit management and Pear, Apple & Cherry growers fostering a positive relationship between the Mount Adams Fruit Warehouse and the grower base. The field Representative provides basic horticulture assistance to growers throughout the season and communicates the needs, expectations and requirements of Mount Adams Fruit to the grower base.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit and manage grower relationships, including contracts, harvest coordination, and feedback on crop quality and returns.
Provide horticultural support and assess orchard conditions (yield, quality, maturity, storability).
Use Salesforce, Telus Agronomy, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace for reporting and data sharing.
Coordinate logistics such as bin deliveries and ensure compliance with pesticide regulations and Sustainable Agriculture Systems.
Communicate packing performance, market conditions, and company updates to growers.
Support plant and food safety protocols; comply with all company policies.
Perform additional assignments as needed.
