Field Operator

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in large Gas-Based DRI, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plants.
• Experience in HYL DRI plant operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, pumps, compressors, turbines, and plant safety systems.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Fluent in English.

Responsible for carrying out field operations and monitoring plant equipment as per control room instructions to ensure safe and smooth plant operations.

The role includes equipment line-up, field inspections, safe handover of equipment for maintenance, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting plant startup, shutdown, and emergency handling activities.

• Operate and monitor field equipment in coordination with the control room.
• Set equipment and valve positions as required for process operations.
• Ensure safe isolation and handover of equipment for maintenance activities.
• Monitor plant parameters, identify abnormalities, and report deviations to Senior Field Operator/Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain field log sheets and operational records.
• Support plant startup, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow all plant safety and MSDS procedures.
• Contribute towards achieving zero LTI and safe plant operations.
• Act as Senior Field Operator whenever assigned.
