Role Overview
Plan, coordinate, and oversee field operations across Hajj activities, ensuring operational readiness, resource utilization, service quality, and smooth execution during peak periods.
Work with internal teams, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver field operations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Hajj requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute Hajj field operational plans, readiness activities, and resource requirements.
- Oversee daily operations across the Holy Sites, camps, and assigned operational areas.
- Coordinate manpower, resources, logistics, and operational support for service delivery.
- Manage field teams, partners, and suppliers against operational standards and service requirements.
- Monitor performance, service quality, and KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage operational risks, emergencies, field challenges, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate dependencies with departments and stakeholders to maintain service continuity.
- Prepare reports, analyze performance data, and recommend operational improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, service quality, and field performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, field operations, logistics, operational readiness, or a related area.
- Experience in planning, readiness, field operations, operational support, and resource management.
- Ability to manage operations in high-density and high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of the Holy Sites, camps, classifications, and operational areas.
- Knowledge of the Direct Hajj operating model and relevant Hajj and Umrah regulations and procedures.
- Experience managing operational teams, partners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Experience in risk management, emergency response, and business continuity is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Risk Management certification is preferred.
- Business Continuity certification is preferred.
