Searce is seeking an AI-native transformation leader and hands-on builder to serve as Field CTO.
The role owns technology architecture, client revenue impact, engineering velocity, and scalable AI outcomes.
Experience and relevance
- Lead high-growth engineering organizations for 15+ years and scale teams from approximately 10 to 200 people.
- Deliver AI, MLOps, LLM, or large-scale data infrastructure across 0-to-1 and 1-to-100 stages.
- Work across Google Cloud, Databricks, AWS, OpenAI, or comparable technology ecosystems.
- Hold an advanced MS or PhD degree in computer science, AI, engineering, or a related field.
Strategy and leadership
- Define the three-year roadmap for futurify.ai, evlos, platform evolution, and Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Lead Engineering, R&D, and technology-related strategic partnerships.
- Tie architectural investments to revenue, margin, and client ROI.
- Hire, coach, and retain world-class engineers and establish scalable engineering standards.
Innovation and intellectual property
- File patents across hybrid human-AI workflows, adaptive learning loops, and Agent-to-Agent protocols.
- Run prior-art reviews and work with legal to establish defensible claims.
- Create internal accelerators and production pilots for AI-enabled business outcomes.
Platform execution
- Lead production-grade AI stacks covering ML infrastructure, data pipelines, and orchestration layers.
- Build modular services across data, MLOps, vector databases, and Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Embed SRE, security, privacy, and ethical human-in-the-loop controls into CI/CD.
- Review and write code, validate designs with benchmarks, and improve deployment velocity.
Functional capabilities
- Combine business ownership with end-to-end AI and data platform architecture.
- Balance performance, technical debt, cost, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate complex technology into clear narratives for executives, engineers, and clients.
- Navigate trade-offs between speed, polish, robustness, and architectural simplicity.
Technical capabilities
- Use distributed-systems design for resilient, low-coupling architectures.
- Build hybrid human-AI workflows, adaptive learning loops, and Agent-to-Agent protocols.
- Apply zero-trust, privacy-by-design, and ethical AI guardrails.
- Work fluently with Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and Go.
Bonus qualifications
- Experience scaling an AI platform organization beyond 100 engineers.
- Five or more AI or distributed-systems patents.
- Widely adopted open-source work in MLOps or vector databases.
- Recognized expertise from Google, AWS, Databricks, or comparable organizations.
