Responsibilities
- Develop and curate custom and ready made furniture solutions tailored to commercial and hospitality spaces.
- Source high quality materials, textiles, and finishes to meet project aesthetics, durability, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with global and local manufacturers, suppliers, and artisans to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery of FF&E items.
- Partner with interior designers, architects, and project managers to integrate FF&E seamlessly into commercial and hospitality interiors.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and procurement schedules, ensuring adherence to client budgets.
- Create and present mood boards, sample boards, and FF&E proposals to clients, articulating design concepts and product selections.
- Oversee on site furniture installations, ensuring placement aligns with design intent.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in FF&E design
- Expertise in materials sourcing, mood board creation, and vendor collaboration

Role Description
- We are looking for a skilled and creative FF&E Designer to join our growing team in Dubai.
- This role focuses on designing, sourcing, and specifying high end furniture, fixtures, and materials that meet client requirements and contribute to cohesive design solutions, for commercial and hospitality projects.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong aesthetic sense, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to help create functional yet visually striking interiors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate custom and ready made furniture solutions tailored to commercial and hospitality spaces.
- Source high quality materials, textiles, and finishes to meet project aesthetics, durability, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with global and local manufacturers, suppliers, and artisans to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery of FF&E items.
- Partner with interior designers, architects, and project managers to integrate FF&E seamlessly into commercial and hospitality interiors.

Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of contract grade furniture, durability requirements, and hospitality standards.
- In depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods, including woodwork, metal fabrication, upholstery, and joinery.
- Familiarity with CAD drawings for production, material specifications, and quality control in manufacturing.
- Ability to assess ergonomics, sustainability factors, and functional requirements in furniture design.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in FF&E design.
- Expertise in materials sourcing, mood board creation, and vendor collaboration.
- Expertise in software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Revit, and Excel (for BOQs and budgets). SolidWorks is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and trends in interior design is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture.
- A strong portfolio showcasing FF&E work in commercial and hospitality interiors is required.
