Scottsdale Community College is hiring a Federal Work Study (FWS) - Dance and Yoga Program Assistant (Multiple positions).

Must be a Scottsdale Community College student registered for 6 or more credit hours and received financial aid eligibility.

This position will helps maintain costume facilities, video stock and video recording applications.

Maintains mailing lists, call boards, laundry and company calendars.

Performs basic clerical and production functions such as mail processing, filing, video recording and duplication and relieves other staff in assigned area.

Aids in production week events and set up.

To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus.

In order to qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements.

• FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
• FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
• FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
• The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Must be a Scottsdale Community College student registered for 6 or more credit hours and received financial aid eligibility.

• Knowledge of the dance field and dance production
• Experience using Adobe products including Final Cut Pro, In Design and Photoshop
• Experience in using the following equipment: DVD player, stereo, lighting boards, instruments, washing machine and dryer
• Experience in using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Effective at prioritizing tasks and ensuring all details are addressed in a timely manner.
• Follow oral and written instructions
• Meet deadlines
• Ability to convey detailed information clearly and effectively
• Establish cooperative working relationships
