Role Overview
Provide stress and flammability services throughout the design and development process.
Perform detailed stress analysis and assess flammability of aerospace interior components and assemblies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in stress analysis, structural analysis, or related engineering activities.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or FEA experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Strength of Materials, Structural Mechanics, and engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of any FEA software, such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, Patran, Femap, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Femap/NX Nastran is an added advantage.
- Exposure to fatigue, vibration, buckling, and damage tolerance analysis is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop finite element models and perform linear static stress analysis.
- Perform structural analysis and stress substantiation of components, assemblies, and systems.
- Generate stress reports and engineering calculations to support design validation.
- Create and validate Interface Load Reports.
- Develop static test plans, including load derivation, test setup definition, and instrumentation requirements.
- Support static testing activities and correlate test results with analytical predictions.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material properties.
- Support design optimization and resolve structural issues through analysis.
- Collaborate with design, testing, manufacturing, and certification teams.
