Job Summary
Linkletter Farms is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Farm Operator. Responsibilities include operating various farm machinery. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations are essential for this role. Willingness to learn is essential. Training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow standard operating procedures when performing on-the-farm activities as directed by your supervisor.
- Adhere to health and safety standards to minimize workplace risks and follow food safety protocols.
- Keep the farm and its properties tidy.
- Operate farm equipment such as the windrower and tillers, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition. Conduct daily checks before and after use.
- Responsibilities are not limited to this guideline .
Qualifications
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license and class
- Minimum of 2 years driving experienc e
- Pesticide Applicator Certificate preferred
- Willingness to learn
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
