Qualifications & Board Recognition
- American Board of Family Medicine
- UK CCT / MRCGP
- European Board Certification
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian Fellowship (FRACGP / FACRRM)
- Arab Board
- MD, DNB, FNB, DrNB, DM, FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH license
Key Responsibilities – Family Medicine
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across all age groups
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments, medical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disorders, thyroid disease, and metabolic disorders
- Deliver preventive healthcare services including routine health screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling, and early disease detection
- Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans
- Provide patient education and counselling on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modification
- Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and allied healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies
