Job Summary
The employer is seeking an experienced and reliable Family Cook for a Russian family.
The role covers daily meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, grocery coordination, and food hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the family.
- Cook Russian and international cuisine according to family preferences.
- Prepare traditional Russian dishes such as soups, salads, and dumplings.
- Plan weekly menus around dietary requirements.
- Purchase or coordinate purchases of fresh ingredients and groceries.
- Maintain kitchen, equipment, and utensil cleanliness and hygiene.
- Store food properly, minimize waste, and manage food stocks.
- Prepare meals for gatherings and special occasions when required.
- Follow instructions about preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a family cook, private chef, or household cook.
- Knowledge of Russian cuisine is preferred.
- Ability to prepare a variety of international dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper food storage.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily meal preparation.
- Reliable, organized, trustworthy, and able to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility with working hours when required by the family.
