Job Description
- The Physical Science and Engineering Division at KAUST invites applications for a faculty position at any level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Petroleum Geology.
- Focus on petroleum systems analysis, reservoir modeling including lithofacies and pore network analysis, and hydrocarbon related exploration geophysics.
- Research should focus on Arabian petroleum systems.
Role
- Address fundamental and applied aspects of conventional and unconventional petroleum systems and basin models.
- Areas of interest include basin analysis, reservoir characterization, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, and seismic interpretation.
- Establish an internationally recognized research program and collaborate across disciplines.
Qualifications
- PhD required.
- Advanced knowledge of Arabian geology and industry experience desirable.
