Role Overview
The posting seeks an Estimation Engineer – Marble & Granite to support project estimation, fabrication, transportation, installation, and site execution.
The role requires coordination across clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, factory teams, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations, and project cost breakdowns.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine quantities and costs.
- Research market prices and negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, internal teams, and project personnel.
- Handle site measurements and drawings related to marble and granite works.
- Coordinate manpower, factory cutting and fabrication, transportation, fixing, installation, and site execution.
- Monitor progress and coordination between fabrication, transportation, and installation teams.
- Maintain accurate estimation records and support resolution of estimation, material, fabrication, and site issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- 4–5 years of relevant estimation experience is required, preferably in marble, granite, stone fabrication, or interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of marble and granite materials, fabrication, installation, and finishing is required.
- Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations is required.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and relevant CAD or estimation software is required.
- Factory fabrication, transportation, and site installation coordination experience is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and coordination skills are required.
- Ability to manage manpower, coordinate multiple activities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is required.
- A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience in marble and granite estimation, fabrication, cutting, fixing, transportation, and site installation is highly preferred.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 6,000–AED 7,500 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person in the UAE.
