Role Description
Oversee factory operations, production activities, and workforce management while achieving production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily factory operations and smooth production activities.
- Plan production schedules, manpower, resources, and capacity.
- Lead and supervise production supervisors, workers, and factory staff.
- Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimise production waste.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, maintenance, procurement, and quality departments.
- Monitor raw materials, inventory, equipment, and production resources.
- Manage factory budgets, operating costs, and resource utilisation.
- Ensure machinery and production equipment are maintained and safely operated.
- Investigate issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company requirements.
- Lead training, performance management, inspections, continuous improvement, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in factory, manufacturing, or production management is stated as required/preferred.
