Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and reliability of building systems and equipment.
- Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Respond to technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Optimize energy use and system performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Support planning and execution of upgrades and improvement projects.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Experience in facility maintenance planning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and building management systems (BMS).
- Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in facilities management or building operations, preferably within commercial or mixed use properties in the region.
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on site.

Role Description
- The Facility Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing the technical operations, maintenance, and reliability of building systems and equipment.
