Facilities Technician- Weekends

Velocitor Solutions is a mobility solutions software development company with an 80,000+ square foot facility that houses our Development and Project Services teams, Support Center, Warehouse, Fitness Center, Café, and multiple employee collaboration spaces.

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to serve as our primary Facilities Technician during weekend operations.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our building during non-traditional business hours.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on professional who enjoys a variety of work and is comfortable performing everything from repairing walls, replacing light fixtures, painting, and pressure washing to assisting with housekeeping and facility cleanup as needed.

The standard schedule for this position is Friday through Monday from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM, consisting of four (4) ten-hour shifts with a one-hour unpaid meal break.

Alternative scheduling options, including five (5) eight-hour shifts, may be considered based on business needs and the successful candidate's availability.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and employee break areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean windows, empty trash, and perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Inspect the building, equipment, and facility systems to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform general building maintenance, including repairs to walls, doors, windows, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and other facility components.
• Replace light bulbs, ballasts, ceiling tiles, and other building fixtures as needed.
• Complete painting, pressure washing, and minor carpentry projects to maintain the appearance of the facility.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities to minimize equipment failures and facility issues.
• Assist with exterior building maintenance, including litter removal and basic groundskeeping.
• Support facility setup and cleanup for meetings, company events, and special projects.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify the Facilities Supervisor when replenishment is needed.
