Facilities Technician II

Firefly Facility Technicians within the launch group will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of launch site building and support systems.

You will work as part of a small team requiring minimal supervision, so a self-starter is a must!

• Performs routine inspections and repairs of exterior/interior facilities to include roofs, ceilings, walls, floors and fixtures.
• Performs carpentry and painting repairs; performs plumbing and minor electrical repairs; light concrete placement and repair; HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to include HVAC, generators, cranes, corrosion control, grounding systems and lightning protection systems.
• Maintains outdoor grounds and parking lots to be clean and free of debris.
• Coordinates and works with other vendors or contractors on larger multi-trade projects.
• Performs assembly and/or moving of furniture, racks, or other site equipment.
• Creates and/or completes maintenance work tickets providing the actions and procedures carried out to complete tasks.
• Provides general support during launch campaigns and launch day efforts.
• Responds to emergency situations during and after hours.
