Role Overview
The Facilities Officer supports workplace facilities, building operations, maintenance activities, vendors, and office services.
The role helps keep facilities safe, functional, efficient, and well maintained while supporting employees and business operations.
Facilities & Maintenance
- Support day-to-day office building and workplace operations.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities and equipment.
- Arrange repairs for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, lighting, security, and other building systems.
- Conduct facility inspections and maintain maintenance, service-request, inspection, and contractor records.
Workplace Services & Projects
- Manage cleaning, security, landscaping, pest control, waste management, and other workplace services.
- Coordinate office spaces, meeting rooms, workstations, common facilities, access cards, keys, and parking arrangements.
- Assist with office moves, relocations, renovations, refurbishment, space planning, and workplace improvement projects.
- Support sustainability, energy-saving, environmental, emergency preparedness, evacuation, and business continuity activities.
