Facilities Manager

JOB OVERVIEW: Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a Facilities Manager with recent leadership or past working experience with facilities maintenance and operations supporting military installation operations to lead our team of skilled professionals at a potential contract supporting the US Navy on the West Sound Base Operations Support (BOS) contract in Kitsap County Washington and the surrounding area. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: o Serve as the Deputy Project Manager o Provide technical leadership to functional managers and supervisors who exercise full responsibility for all O&M work scope o Provide necessary resources to achieve work completion milestones and contract deliverables o Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements and deliverables ensuring quality and timeliness to various customers o Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to assigned staff o Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of O&M activities o Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of O&M requirements to determine compliance with specifications and standards o Direct the investigation and resolution of any problem or concern identified by customer, corporate or oversight entity QUALIFICATIONS: • 10+ years’ experience in engineering, facility operations and maintenance (O&M), or project management; or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Experience with facilities supporting continuous operations • Knowledge of power and cooling technologies (e.g., uninterruptible power supply, heating, ventilation and air conditioning [HVAC], and building automation systems) • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e., MAXIMO) • Proven direct management experience successfully managing a staff of at least 100 personnel • Excellent communication skills • Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) • Prior military service desired but not required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. • Must be able to drive/walk/travel to various locations within the facility and satellite locations • Must be able to work at a computer station for extended periods of time.
