Role Description
The Facilities Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for company facilities and related infrastructure.
The role oversees facility operation, maintenance, safety, policies, budgets, vendor performance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and supervise service providers.
- Ensure HVAC, electrical, security, and other building systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Manage budgets, monitor vendor performance, and optimize facility resources.
- Manage space planning and office layout changes.
- Respond to facility incidents and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and employee comfort.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities management, building operations, or property management is required.
- Vendor and contract management skills are required.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations is required.
- Budget management, cost analysis, and resource allocation skills are required.
- Proficiency with facilities software or CMMS tools is required.
- Relevant technical or professional training in facilities management, engineering, building services, or a related field is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- The role requires independent work, task prioritization, sound decision-making, and remote collaboration.
- A bachelor's degree is an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Sustainability, energy efficiency, or workplace optimization experience is a plus.
