Full-time, on-site Facilities Manager role based in Qatar.
Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and safety of company facilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Manage facility budgets and monitor energy usage and cost efficiency.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Manage facility records and respond promptly to operational issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth business operations.
- Lead facility staff and promote a safe, efficient work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, and contractor or service-provider coordination.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices for industrial and commercial facilities.
- Strong budgeting, planning, and resource management skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise facility teams with effective communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency with facility management software or maintenance tracking systems and basic office tools.
- Relevant technical diploma or bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Manufacturing or building materials experience, preferably in the Middle East, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Qatar and commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
